Dear Prospective Students and Parents,
Welcome, and thank you for your interest in the Culver City Unified School District’s newest school, the CCUSD iAcademy. This exciting new school is built on the premise that “one size doesn’t fit all.” We know that not all students thrive or reach their full potential in a traditional comprehensive school. The CCUSD iAcademy offers a different structure, learning philosophy, and academic emphasis to accommodate all student needs, interests, and learning styles while honoring the unique needs of our community. The goal of the CCUSD iAcademy is to serve students in grades K-12, offering both a full-time program and supplemental instruction.
The CCUSD iAcademy serves students in kindergarten through 12th grade by using a blended educational model that will combine independent study through technology with both site-based and home-school learning. Our school will include a pathway that is accessible to students year round, twenty-four hours a day, and seven days a week. The program fits the needs of students from gifted and talented education programs to students in need of academic intervention and remediation. With a breadth of courses that includes foreign languages and a depth of curriculum offering Advanced Placement (AP) courses, all students may learn at high levels with no exceptions.
The CCUSD iAcademy has a dedicated staff and site that incorporates parent partnership to ensure student success in a range of courses that go beyond what our district is able to provide in the traditional setting.
